Environmental Conservation Apprenticeship Level 2 at Warwickshire College Group

Course description

Our countryside is home for a variety of plants and animals yet the pressures on their habitats are continually increasing through urban development. This course offers those interested in preserving our natural heritage an opportunity to continue their personal development whilst working in the conservation industry. The course involves studying for a Workbased Diploma plus supporting qualifications. Practical skills are learnt in the workplace supported by part-time attendance at College.

Course content

Qualifications you will be working towards:

Level 2 Diploma in Workbased Environmental Conservation

Level 2 Award in Business for the Environmental and Landbased Sector

English Functional Skills Level 1

Maths Functional Skills Level 1

Entry requirements

A good level of communication and numeracy skills, three GCSEs at grade D or above and a commitment to environmental conservation.

Future opportunities

On completion of this course you may wish to progress to the next appropriate course or continue your employment.
