Physics - GCSE at St James's C E High School
This is a two year course. In year 10, pupils study two Physics units as part of Science A which together contribute 25% to the final assessment for Physics GCSE. In year 11, they complete two further units worth 25% each. The final part of the assessment is an internally assessed unit. Pupils choosing the separate Sciences take all three, and in order to complete the courses they work at high pressure throughout years 10 and 11, including compulsory attendance at after-school lessons.
