What support and enrichment will I get?
In order to support students we run a range of lunchtime and after school booster and revision sessions. Members of staff are also available for more individualised tutorial help. In order to help students develop their fieldwork skills we run a four day trip to Wales covering all aspects of ecology in a variety of different habitats.
In addition to the standard entry requirements for the Sixth Form, students should have studied GCSE Core and Additional Science or Triple Science at Key Stage 4. Students must achieve a grade B or higher in Additional Science, including a B or higher in the Biology exam, in order that they meet the demands of the Post 16 course. It is also recommended that pupils achieve at least a grade 6 in Maths due to the increased mathematical demands of the specification.
