Health & Social Care BTEC Level 2 Diploma at Carshalton College

Course description

A practical “hands on” programme taught in the context of real jobs and careers in a chosen vocational sector. This gives you the chance to explore opportunities in the sector and acquire appropriate vocational skills.

  • The impact of Diet.

A mandatory work placement for two days a week forms part of the assessment.

Entry requirements

An average of grade D for three or more GCSEs/Level 1 Functional skills or successful completion of a Level 1 Programme/FL Level 1 Programme with the full 37 credits.

You may be asked to demonstrate your commitment and skills in an interview.

DBS fee of £54 applies.

Future opportunities

BTEC Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 or BTEC Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development Level 3 or employment or Apprenticeship.
