AS Art, Craft & Design at Ken Stimpson Community School

Course description

This is a broad-based course exploring practical and critical/contextual work through a range of 2D/3D processes and media. It is taught as a series of projects, which have been planned to cover the whole range of 2D and 3D processes required for successful completion of the programme of study. Each project starts with a brief or theme, which lead to the study of a different aspect of art, design or culture. You are expected to develop a journal, showing the development of ideas and experimentation with materials, which is taken through to an individual piece of final 2D or 3D work.
