Course description

Philosophy and Ethics at A Level builds on the foundations laid at GCSE. Those who are successful with this subject will enjoy applying a wide range of concepts to enable them to confidently interpret, contextualise and analyse the expressions of religious and world views that they encounter. The course will enable students to make a smooth transition to the next level of study. The whole course trains students to become analysts who can appreciate both sides of an argument. This is a valuable skill which is sought after in any profession.

5 A* - C at GCSE

(C grade in GCSE Philosophy and Ethics desirable. B grade in GCSE English desirable)
