A level Sociology at Garforth Academy

Sociology is an excellent subject that compliments most other A-level subjects. It is well respected and highly valued by both employers and universities.

Course content

Sociology looks at all areas of human social behaviour. Sociologists work on the assumption that our behaviour is largely explained by 'outside' factors such as the social conditions we live in and the society we have created.
