Enterprise & Entrepreneurship BTEC Level 3 at Campion School

Course description

We are excited to introduce this qualification to replace the ‘Applied Business’ course which is no longer on offer. We strongly believe in running a hands-on course, which allows students to learn Business theory, but most importantly to apply their learning to real-world scenarios. This course is designed to prepare students fully for either beginning a University course or entering employment. The BTEC Level 3 in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship is broadly equivalent to one A Level.

Students studying this course will learn all of the necessary skills and academic knowledge suitable for starting employment, their own business or a University course. The course is designed around the work produced by the student, where they will be given a task to complete by a certain deadline and the work that they produce will help determine their final grade. This course is assessed through 100% portfolio work. Areas to be covered include marketing, promotion, finance and starting a business. BTEC Level 3 in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship is a course where the emphasis is upon the work produced during lessons, study sessions and homework time. This will involve access to and investigation of real life businesses.

Future opportunities

BTEC Level 3 in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship is an excellent qualification in preparing for employment, setting up their own business or going to University. This subject imparts the skills directly used in the business world every day, including those of target setting, time management, organisation and the meeting of deadlines. This is an excellent course welcomed by employers.
