Course description

Business and Management covers a wide diversity of skills and careers that support businesses from small independent shops to global multi-million pound organisations. What they all have in common is that they need different skills and individuals to deliver their products or service.

Our Programmes are designed for those wanting to enter the industry to either work for themselves, or to gain employment. One of the great things about this sector is that the skills you learn are transferable to other businesses so you could be applying them in a record company, a bank or a charity.

Course content

Chances are you have used a computer, smart phone or other technology either at work or in your personal life. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is all around us, and is a central part of our lives. It’s a sector that is growing all the time as technology developments drive forward innovation, meaning that ICT skills are becoming more important in the job market.

There are two sides of ICT, knowing how it works and knowing how to use it to its full potential. The I.C.T Application Specialist provides the competence skills and knowledge to use IT Systems, software and communication and productivity tools efficiently. Our Programmes support job-roles such as Web Technician, Digital Analyst, I.T Analyst, or can underpin any job-role where there is a heavy reliance on technology; industries such as Financial Services, Communications, Gaming and Entertainment.
