Course description

We offer a course that not only involves listening, reading, writing and speaking, but will allow you to discuss relevant topical issues and compare them with your own experiences: Crime Political History Drugs Latin America We also offer our students the opportunity to study Spanish at first year degree level through Open University. Other students combine this subject with..... French, Psychology, English, Business, Geography...

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C including A*-B in Spanish and have a dictionary at home!

Future opportunities

Later you might want to study... Spanish in more depth, Travel, Tourism, Journalism, Banking, Marketing or Media at Higher Education. Competence in a foreign language is a real advantage in many careers. You could take this course with other advanced level course or equivalent to prepare for higher education in Spanish, Languages or more general higher education courses. With further training, you could go into a job requiring a knowledge of Spanish or Languages such as a Teacher, Translator, or you may wish to use your Spanish to study or work over in Spain. The course will also help you develop the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers across lots of industries are looking for, especially in the travel and tourism sector.
