Course description

In the first year you will focus on a generic science course, which will involve the completion of three main units.In the second year, you will specialise in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics. The course involves the completion of all six units in order to qualify for certification.The six areas of study are:Fundamentals of ScienceScientific Practical TechniquesPhysiology of Human Body SystemsPhysiology of Human Regulation and ReproductionMicrobiological TechniquesGenetics and Genetic Engineering

5 GCSEs A* - C to include English Language and Science or BTEC level 2 Science at Distinction
