Religious Studies at West Walsall E-ACT Academy
Course description
What the subject is about: Religious Studies involves the study of philosophy and ethics. Students will learn about a variety of schools of thought including situation ethics, utilitarianism, natural law and Kantian ethics. In addition, students will have the opportunity to discuss the problem of evil, religious experience, miracles and issues of life and death. Students will learn share their views and present a balanced argument which is underpinned by a clear rationale It is useful for many careers including the police force, social work, teaching and other caring/people professions.
