Introduction to Work Entry Level 1-3 (depending on ability & previous qualifications) at Guildford College

Course description

This course is the next level up in preparing for employment. It will further develop your communication and work skills.

You’ll be independently applying skills, knowledge and understanding in our activities at work and in your work placements.

You’ll have more support than on the Supported Work Skills course as you’ll be visited in your workplace daily.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. A school/college report and an EHCP is a requirement before attending a Taster Experience.

Your suitability for this course will be determined by our staff after attending a Taster Experience.

You need to be able to travel independently to your work placement.

You will need to be able to access the College environment and facilities in an appropriate manner.

Financial information

You could move on to other supported learning courses or to a supported living environment.

Future opportunities

On completion of this course you will gain a qualification in Introduction to Work and College certificates for English, Maths and ICT.
