Course description

Our Foundation Learning course is typically for learners who need direction and skills to enhance their employability options and to decide upon a suitable progression route. In the main, learners are aged between 16 - 18 (in exceptional cases we have had learners over 19) and usually fall within the NEET group. We offer a variety of options which includes Functional Skills, Personal & Social Development, Vocational Development, Mathematics & English. Our training is flexible and tailored to the requirements of each learner, with an open door policy. This allows access to training at any time, throughout the academic year. Within our Foundation Learning course, learners will work towards Level 1 NOCN Qualifications in Customer Service, Confidence Awareness, Equality & Diversity and Functional Skills at Entry Levels and Levels 1 & 2.
