Level 1 in Plumbing at Trafford College

Course description

This qualification is intended as an introduction qualification for those who wish to enter any of the following industries:* Pipe Skills* Heating and ventilating* General PlumbingTo achieve this Level 1, learners must achieve 45 credits from 8 mandatory units. Learning is through classroom based and practical workshop activities.Completion of Functional Skills Level1 Maths and English is compulsory unless a suitable exemption by GCSE certificates can be provided.

Entry requirements

5 GCSE's Grade E or above including Maths and English

Assessment

The College staff will administer and monitor practical and written assessments covering the range of units of competence.

Future opportunities

Onto the Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Studies.
