BTEC Subsidiary Diploma In Sport at Great Marlow School

Course description

Level 3 BTEC Certificate will be completed in the first year of study. Following successful completion of the certificate level a student will then continue to achieve the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Sport which is equivalent to 1 A-Level. BTEC Sport is an alternative way of studying traditional A-Levels to help ensure that learners reach their potential. Learners are set assignments and rewarded along the way with credits towards a final outcome rather than experience the pressure of a traditional exam. This ensures that hard work and demonstration of knowledge is rewarded during an ongoing process.

Entry requirements

Students should have achieved at least a Grade C in GCSE Physical Education (if studied) or a C Grade in Science and English as well as having a keen awareness and interest of current sporting issues.
