Course description
Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies (Make-Up) (QCF) is a technical level qualification that provides the knowledge, understanding and skills to work as a beauty therapist specialising in make-up. This qualification is based on Habia National Occupational Standards and builds on existing knowledge and understanding of beauty therapy gained at Level 2, enabling learners to expand the scope of their technical skills to prepare learners for employment as a beauty therapist specialising in make-up.
Course content
This qualification is comprised of health and safety, client care and communication, fashion and photographic make-up and media make-up.
Optional units to enhance the range of practical skills such as face and body art, airbush make-up, camouflage make-up, applying prosthetic pieces, and fantasy hair design.
The course is delivered in both theoretical and practical workshops building into an on line e-portfolio of written and observed evidence

Level 2 Beauty Therapy, a creative flare and manual dexterity with an aptitude for colour and imagery
