Course description

This course is designed to give an Introduction to 16-19 year olds wishing to develop a career in either the Health and Social Care or the Early Years Sectors. Whilst at the same time developing English, math and social skills.

Course content

You will gain an understanding of equality and diversity, how to communicate effectively, how to support children and adults, health and safety , the Importance of healthy eating and the development of children and young people through play.

Entry requirements

Three GCSEs at Grade E or above or an Entry Level qualification and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Serivce (DBS) check.

16-18 years old, no tuition fees apply to Full Time courses and fees subject to confirmation. Additional costs applicable to BHS courses.

You will be able to progress on to the level 2 Health and Social Care course or the level 2 Childcare course.
