ICT A Level at Stationers Crown Woods Academy

Course description

A self motivated individual with the desire to find out how things work. You are keen to evaluate what you know and try to develop new solutions to the problems that ICT can help solve.

Course content

Practical and theoretical insights into the use of Information and Communication Technology in the world today. The AS course is 100% exam and the A2 course has a 40% coursework element.
- Unit 1 – Practical Problem Solving in the Digital World
- Unit 2 – Living in the Digital World
- Unit 3 – The Use of ICT in the Digital World
- Unit 4 – Coursework: Practical Issues Involved in the Use of ICT in the Digital World

Entry requirements

A grade C in GCSE English, Mathematics and ICT or OCR National or BTEC ICT at Merit.
