Cambridge Technical Diploma in Sport at King Edward VI Sixth Form College

Course description

This Cambridge Sports course covers two years and carries the equivalent UCAS points of two A-Levels. The academic course covers the wide range of activities and professions that are available in sport – however there are also opportunities to specialise as well if students prefer.

Course content will include such topics as: nutrition for sport; marketing; sports therapy; sports injuries; work experience in sport; leadership in sport; sport as a business; fitness testing and practical participation.

This new course is ideal preparation for both a degree in a sports related field or else for the workplace because of the combination of transferable theoretical and practical skills.
