The course for you if ...

You would love to enter the workplace but need a little additional help and support.

Course content

This course will develop key skills to boost confidence in the workplace and covers a variety of topics including: Health and safety at work; Communications; Working relationships; Employability skills; and Health education. You will have the additional opportunity to study Functional Skills in Maths and English.

During the second and third terms you’ll spend one day a week on work placements with ongoing Tutor support.

Entry requirements

You don't need formal qualifications and places are offered following a successful link/assessment visit and/or an informal interview with a course leader.

Assessment

You will be assessed during classroom activities throughout the programme.

Future opportunities

You may be able to move into supported employment or external agencies.
