Enterprise and Entrepreneurship BTEC Level 3 Award at The Whitehaven Academy

Course description

This course provides you with the opportunity to run a business, and work with local businesses in developing projects and employer engagement activity for the academy. It includes topics such as: developing a marketing campaign, launching an enterprise, business survival and growth, business decision making, social enterprise, entrepreneurship in practice, business planning and pitching, financial planning and implementation, launching your business vision, monitoring the performance of your business, operating your business, planning the future strategy of your business, leadership and teamwork, market research and analysis, brand development and promotion, business in an international context, e-marketing and website design, managing a business event, business project management , recruitment and selection in business, development planning for a career in business, business markets and the economy.

In addition to this, you will take part in a wide range of enterprise activity across the academy.
