Air Cabin Crew Intermediate Diploma Level 2 at Fareham College

Course description

This full time course is primarily for people hoping to become airline cabin crew, although you will develop skills that are transferable across many travel and tourism sectors.

You will be based at Fareham College’s sister campus, CEMAST, in Lee-on-the-Solent for this course. Classes take place in a dedicated classroom featuring a specially adapted section of a real aircraft. You will learn all aspects of a flight including dealing with emergencies, customer care, selling techniques and airline health, safety and security.

You will also be offered the opportunity to attend several major airlines’ training centre such as, Virgin Atlantic Airways and British Airways.

Course content

The qualification studied is:

  • Diploma in Air Cabin Crew Operations

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade D or above.

Future opportunities

Students can progress to Travel and Tourism BTEC Level 3. Careers could include: airline junior cabin crew leading on to the senior role of purser or cabin crew trainer.

    • All Automotive, Engineering and Manufacturing courses run by Fareham College are conducted at our Centre of Excellence in Engineering, Manufacturing and Advanced Skills Training, or CEMAST, campus on the Daedalus airfield in Lee-on-the-Solent.
