Construction (Plumbing) - Apprenticeship at East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire)

Course description

As an apprentice you will learn how to install plumbing and heating systems into new and existing buildings. The Intermediate Apprenticeship will cover how to maintain and repair existing systems and equipment. The Advanced Apprenticeship will cover gas systems, domestic cold water systems, water regulations and electrical work on domestic plumbing and heating. At this level, you will expand and develop existing foundation knowledge and skills in plumbing and heating.

Entry requirements

All potential Apprentices will benefit from average to good GCSE grades, D, C, B & A. Support is given to all future apprentices who have not got the required grades of maths and English for the framework. The functional skills delivery is both group delivery and one to one depending on the level of support required. The technical elements of this qualification will require the apprentice to have a good educational background with good grades in GSCE.
