Course description

The Hairdressing Apprenticeship framework consists of the NVQ Diploma in Ladies Hairdressing, Employment Rights & Responsibilities and Functional Skills in Maths and English. This course gives those employed in the Hairdressing industry the ability to achieve a recognised national qualification in Level 2 Hairdressing. The content and criteria of the course consists of theory, practical, functional skills, tutorials and opportunities for assessments in the workplace and in college, in a timely framework to ensure learners achieve with regular reviews from the work-based development team.

Entry requirements

To apply for the programme you will need a keen interest in the Industry. You will be invited to attend an interview and to attain a good level on the Initial assessment. To be an apprentice you need to be working a minimium of 30 hours per week in the related occupation of your chosen apprenticeship.
