Schools Provision 14-16, Motor Vehicle - Mechanical Repair and Maintenance at Nova Training - Oldbury

Course description

Motor Vehicle courses are available to young people via our 14-16 schools programme.

Course content

As part of the course you will learn the basic elements of motor vehicle maintenance that will include: oil and lubrication, cooling systems, wheels and tyres, fuel and exhaust systems, transmission, valeting and much more.  

You will be guided through your course by trade qualified tutors that also hold current teaching qualifications. All our workshops are based around fully working garages and have operational vehicle lifting ramps, tyre changing machines, wheel balancing and a full range of professional tools for you to use.

Our courses are accredited by City & Guilds and are offered at Entry Level 3 and Level 1.

Future opportunities

Further progression may be onto a higher level qualification, Access to Apprenticeships, work placements, Apprenticeship or employment.
