Course content

'This course builds on the concepts and skills developed in GCSE chemistry, physics and biology at a more advanced level. You will learn about basic scientific theories and practical techniques, methods used in scientific investigation, how science is represented in the media, working in the science industry and laboratory based calculations. This course is equivalent to 3 A Levels.

Entry requirements

'4 in Combined Science and 4 in Maths and English

Future opportunities

'This course will allow you to further your education through degree programmes in a related field and help you progress into a variety of science based careers such as biomedical science, forensic science, healthcare science, microbiology, research science and toxicology.
