3D Design A level at Leyton Sixth Form College

Course description

You will use a variety of materials to develop creative solutions to design problems. Research skills, architectural model making, drawing and presentation techniques are vital elements of the coursework. You will study a personal investigation unit and an externally set (exam) unit each year. The second year you will also do a written study.

C - Art & Design or Design Technology(Product Design/Graphic Products)

C/5 – English

Exam board: EDEXCEL

Future opportunities

You can progress onto a Foundation Diploma course or a degree in a range of art-based subjects, and careers in 3D design, including architecture, furniture design, interior design, product design and set/stage design.

Further information

There are visits to galleries, museums, degree shows, workshops and opportunities to meet artists and designers.
