Health, Social Care & Early Years OCR Technical Diploma - Level 3 at Broadgreen International School

Course description

Cambridge Technicals are a new suite of vocational qualifications at Level 2 and Level 3 for students aged 16+. They’re designed with the workplace in mind and provide a high-quality alternative to A Levels, with a great range of subjects to choose from. The qualifications allow for a high degree of flexibility with the choice of units that make up the qualifications, so students can specialise in the specific areas of the subject that interest them most.

Students at both levels can progress to employment or further education. In addition, at Level 3, Cambridge Technicals have UCAS points and can, therefore, enable progression to higher education as well. With the demographics in the UK changing rapidly and the population living longer, the health and social care sectors will experience huge growth over the next few years. Cambridge Technicals at Levels 2 and 3 offer students a broad and in-depth foundation for either the modern workplace or further studies. With 11 Level 2 units and 26 Level 3 units, there is a wide choice for students to study.
