Course description

The Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT User Skills covers a wide and varied range of units available within the IT User Skills framework including the options to use bespoke/specialist software. The Apprenticeship will develop on the skills learned at Level 2 and allows the learner/employer to create a custom made IT qualification by building up units credits to a minimum of 39 credits. Apprentices will work with their employer to gain relevant practical skills and use the theory learned at college in the workplace. The main software packages are based on the Microsoft Office Suite. The Apprenticeship is made up of the IT User Skills NVQ at Level 3, Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT and an Employee Rights and Responsibilities award.  Applicants will need to have relevant employment within the industry.
