'The course covers the following units:Follow health and safety practice in salonClient consultationShampoo and condition the hair and scalpCut men’s hairCut facial hairDevelop and maintain your effectiveness at workCreate basic outlines and detailing in hairAssist with shavingReceptionThere are several course opportunities during this programme. You have the chance to complete work experience in our academy salons, and also have the opportunity to enter a range of regional and national competitions, such as Wella. During your time on this programme, you will also take part in external visits, suchas The Wella Studios in Manchester to observe celebrity hairdressers and take part in bespoke one day demonstrations on the latest trends and fashions in the industry.
