Video Production & Photography Level 3 at Access Creative College

Course description

Video and photographs are key elements of social media and marketing, as well as an exciting form of artistic expression. You will learn how to create great content, collaborating with other students to produce projects using moving and still images.

Course content

PLAN, SHOOT & EDIT VIDEO Plan and script video concepts in collaboration with clients where required. Direct video shoots, working with actors/featured people to get the best results. Edit and produce the video using Adobe Premiere, adding graphics and effects in Adobe After Effects.

SHOOT STUNNING PHOTOGRAPHS Develop a portfolio of eye-catching images using DSLR cameras and image manipulation in Adobe Photoshop. Apply these to web applications.

DEVELOP BUSINESS SKILLS Learn about working in the video and photography industry.

Entry requirements

We value your creative passion and skills above all else. However, you will need to demonstrate that you are able to work at Level 3 (A Level standard) and we will take your actual, or predicted, grades into account.

FREE for 16-18s.

Future opportunities

You will achieve a Level 3 BTEC Creative Digital Media Production Extended Diploma which can lead on to a creative degree. Completion of both years of the course can generate up to 168 UCAS points, or the equivalent of three A* grades at A Level. You may also go straight into employment in the creative industries.
