BTEC National Level 3 Sub-Diploma/ Diploma in Sport at Clacton County High School
These courses will provide students with a challenge that engages them in many aspects of health, sport and physical activity. Both courses will consider physiological, psychological and nutritional wellbeing and each will have links to specific roles within the sports industry.
If you have a passion for health and sport then the BTEC courses are for you. Whether you are currently taking part in sport for fun, competing at a high level or just love to watch, you will enjoy many different aspects of these courses.
You will be taught by a likeminded member of staff who also enjoys teaching and taking part in sport. The PE Department has a history of great success in all of its courses, with many progressing into PE teachers, Health and Fitness Specialists and Medical professions.
Essential: A minimum of four GCSEs (grades A*-C) is required, normally including either Maths or English or a Merit in BTEC First Diploma.
Desirable: Regular attendance at extra-curricular/ outside clubs would also benefit potential applicants.
