The course deals with current economic issues such as the role of markets and the government in regulating them, the allocation of resources in societies, the environment, poverty, the impact of tourism and the euro.
5 GCSEs at C or above including English and Maths.
Degrees in economics, politics or international business, leading to a range of careers for instance as an economist, in the civil service, banking or finance.
