Front of House Reception Apprenticeship Level 2 at The Vocational Learning Centre Limited

Course description

If you choose an apprenticeship pathway, the framework will include:

  • NVQ Diploma in Front of House Reception
  • Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles
  • Functional Skills Numeracy
  • Functional Skills Literacy
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities

Course content

To achieve a full Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Front of House Reception qualification you will need to gain 37 credits. 11 of these must come from the achievement of mandatory units. A minimum of 3 credits from group B. The remaining 23 credits are achieved from groups B and C. To achieve a full Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles you will need to gain 14 credits of the three mandatory units.

Assessment

You will be assessed on and off the job a dedicated vocational facilitator who will support and guide you through your qualification. Additionally you will undertake an onscreen multiple choice assessment to demonstrate your understanding of the sector requirements.
