Course description



Geography is a vast and fascinating subject, and our distance learning IGCSE course provides a great overview of its two main branches: physical geography and human geography. Covering areas including weather, climate, plate tectonics and cartography, as well as social issues such as food supply, world population and economic development, our home study IGCSE is essential for anyone wishing to study geography at a higher level and provides a fascinating insight into the relationship between humankind and the planet we inhabit. 


You should allow for between 120 and 150 hours' study time, plus additional time for completing assignments. You will have tutor support for a period of up to 18 months from the date of enrolment.

This course follows specification 0460 from the awarding organisation CIE. Full details of the specification can be obtained from CIE's website.

Three exams: 1hr45m (45% of marks), 1hr30m (27.5% of marks) and 1hr30m (27.5% of marks)
