Creative Media Production BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at Knowsley Community College

Course description

The course is designed to provide a highly specialist work-related qualification to give you the knowledge, understanding and skills needed for employment and university. You will study a range of practical approaches to both traditional and interactive media techniques,using a wide range of software packages to create a portfolio of work.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs grade C or above including English or Equivalent vocational qualifications (e.g. level 2 Diploma in Media at Merit or Distinction), and appropriate Functional Skills qualifications

Financial information

There are no specific equipment requirements other than a notepad and pens. However, you may find it useful to have a PC with relevant software at home. We can provide quality stills or video cameras.

Future opportunities

Typically students progress to university to study a wide variety of courses. There is the opportunity to enter careers such as : Animator, Advertising Executive, Journalist, Film Editor and Broadcaster
