Apprenticeship in Gamekeeping and Wildlife Management (Intermediate Level 2) at Newton Rigg College

Course description

Work-based learning and assessment at your place of work with some college based study. Learners must be in a paid work placement to commence an apprenticeship programme. The work-based route involves practising and demonstrating a range of practical and theory skills and includes completing a Work-Based Diploma at Level 2 or plus Functional Skills at an appropriate level.

• Monitor and maintain habitats • Participate in shoot day activities • Pest and predator control • Care of animals in the sporting industry • English and maths
