Floristry City & Guilds (NPTC) Diploma Level 3 at Duchy College

Course description

This qualification aims to provide centre-based learners with the skills they need for a career in floristry. Working in the industry is included within the programme so that learners are suitably equipped for the workplace.
The current qualification is well used and respected in the industry and is a natural progression for those who have completed a level 2 qualification or may be seeking to upskill.

Course content

The subjects you will study include:

Diverse flower and plant care
International design
Creative design for all events and special occasions 
Operations related to business within the floristry industry

You will also carry out a minimum of 80 hours of industry experience each year of study, and will be able to apply your new design skills and plant knowledge in your work placement.

Entry requirements

A level 2 qualification in floristry or three years work experience.

Future opportunities

On successful completion you can expect to improve your promotion prospects at work, or progress onto university study.
