We also use the fantastic facilities Liverpool has to offer, visiting various galleries and sources of inspiration such as The Palm House, Calderstones Park and The Tate to name but a few. Students are encouraged to study fashion seriously and to visit events such as The Clothes Show Live and any fashion shows which may come to Liverpool.

Students have opportunities to design and construct things such as shoes, bags, corsages, bodices as part of the course. They experiment with batik, screen printing and various printing techniques. The course is creative and hands on. Students who have studied the course have thoroughly enjoyed it. If you love fashion, this is a great course to study as you have the opportunity to be creative and gain insight into the working world of the Fashion and Textiles industry.

It doesn't matter if you have no prior experience of Art and Design, Fashion or Textiles as the course starts from the basics, encouraging students to explore and develop their creative skills. Enthusiasm and the ability to work hard is all you need!
