Course content

The course itself takes a blended approach but is broken down into three distinct key elements:
Retail job prospects for retail jobs in County Durham are good, even in challenging times. If you’re well organised, a good communicator, and enjoy working with people, the opportunities in retail go way beyond stacking shelves and ringing up tills. A career in retail can be everything from a cashier to a fashion stylist, personal shopper or store manager.
Travel and Tourism Travel and tourism is a rapidly changing industry that requires employees with an enthusiastic approach to people. The industry is about working hard and playing hard, with good incentives. This career is ideal for students who have the enthusiasm to work with people from all walks of life and possibly get the chance to travel as part of your job.
Customer Service Good customer service is key to the success of any business. Working in customer service your job is to make sure customers are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant way whether thats by offering advice, answering questions or handling complaints.
