Psychology at The South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form

Course description

AS: Students study 5 approaches (Social, Cognitive, Psychodynamic, Biological and learning) at AS level to gain a foundation in Pyscology. Topics include obedience, prejudice, dreaming, gender identity, criminality and phobias. A2: Students are then able to develope their understanding by studying three applied topics of Criminal, Child and Clinical Pyschology.

Entry requirements

Grade C in Maths because of the statistical content in AS course. Ideally will have a grade B in other humanities courses.
