Team Leading Intermediate Apprenticeship at Rewards Training

Course description

This Apprenticeship scheme has been developed to support individuals and businesses to improve skills and contribute to both personal development and business efficiency. The Apprenticeship is approved by the Skills Council for Administration and in most cases government subsidies are available to help individuals and businesses pay for this highly sought after programme of training and development.

Course content

This Apprenticeship consists of 3 component parts, all of which must be completed. Certificate in Principles of Team Leading Certificate (NVQ) Level 2 in Team Leading (achieved by studying the following elements) Mandatory Elements; Manage your own resources; Provide leadership for your team; Develop productive working relationships with colleagues; Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety; Optional Elements; Encourage innovation in your team; Allocate and check work in your team; Provide learning opportunities for colleagues; Resolve customer service problems; Support customer service improvements; Functional Skills Level 1 in English, Maths & ICT Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements however a good level of English and maths are an advantage.

Future opportunities

Once the Team Leading Apprenticeship has been completed it is often a logical move to progress to the Advanced Apprenticeship in Management. It can also be the springboard into other apprenticeships such as IT or Customer Service and can often lead to higher education including university.
