Full Time Programme

Course content

'This level 3 is a 2 year program that deals with the scientific themes and concepts of sport and exercise. Modules include Anatomy & Physiology, Sports Coaching, Fitness Testing & Programing, Sports Injuries and Sports Nutrition.You will learn through hands on practical scenarios in the real world of sport and exercise. Learners will be encouraged to gain real world experience and undertake voluntary hours as additional work experience within the sector.

Entry requirements

'Learners are required to have 5 GCSEs at grade A*- C including Maths or English and will also be required to undertake an interview and assessment. Candidates will be expected to be enthusiastic about embarking on a career in the sports sector.

'On completion of this qualification candidates may progress on to the:HND in Sports Exercise and Health at Tameside CollegeEmployment opportunities within the sector or UniversityCareer in the Sport & Leisure Industry
