Computer Science - A Level at The St Marylebone CE School
Course description
AS Level: The topics covered at AS include computer architecture, communication, data representation, data structures, programs, algorithms, logic, programming methodologies and the impact of computer science on society.
The A Level extends the topics learned in the first year and includes a programming project. The project allows the student to apply the skills they have learned in the first year to provide a computerised solution to a problem which must be solved using original code (programming).
Entry requirements
Grade B in Computing or Computer Science GCSE or Grade 6 in Maths GCSE.
