Course description
The Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 course is for students who want to progress and enter the construction industry as a joiner.
On this one year course you will cover such units as: Conform to Efficient Work Practices, Move and Handle Construction Resources, 1st fix, 2nd Fix Carpentry & Joinery, Truss Roofs, Stairs, Floors, Doors, Kitchen Fitting, Maintenance, Machine Woodwork and Structural Components.
All students will have a set of tools allocated to them for the practical sessions of the course.

Entry requirements
Students must have completed Level 1 Carpentry & Joinery
Future opportunities
After the Level 2, you may decide to take further qualifications leading to a Level 3 Carpentry & Joinery then on to employment as a manager or supervisor, quantity or building surveyor or a site agent.
