Course description
Fancy jetting off to a different place every day? Would you like to learn more about the variety of roles available in the aviation sector? Then this is the course for you!
Giving you a sound grounding in what is needed to work as part of a flight crew; this course takes you through the basics of the roles, providing you with an opportunity to learn about the various job roles, from cabin crew to ground operations.
This level 2 course can help you progress into a job at an airport – anything from organising ramps on the runway to working on the check-in desk. This course certainly provides variety and the opportunity to learn more about the sector.
Helping you to develop your understanding of the airport environment, this up-to-date qualification, based on current industry standards, will get you quickly up to speed for any role in the field.
Course content
The course has a variety of units to get you up to speed in the aviation environment.
Working with our experienced tutors who obtain the latest industry knowledge, you will quickly learn what it takes to become a member of a cabin crew.
Units you will study include:
- Health & Safety
- Aviation security
- Aviation communications
- Check-in services
- Aircraft marshalling
- Boarding and arrival processing
Entry requirements
Students must have the following:
- 5 GCSEs at grades A*-D including English and maths (one at C or above)
Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE maths and/or English
Assessment
You will be asked to take part in an externally set scenario-based assessment alongside practical and written assignments.
