Psychology A Level at Ormiston Sudbury Academy

Course description

This course extends your knowledge offering a choice of topics to be studied, alongside compulsory modules such as the exploration of current perspectives, issues and debates in psychology.

Options include eating behaviour, gender, relationships, cognition, schizophrenia, stress, aggression, addiction and, for the first time, forensic psychology. You will have the ability to compare and evaluate contrasting theories of psychology.

You will have the ability to tackle the mathematical element, including measures of central tendency and the use and interpretation of graphs and statistical tests.

Entry requirements

Grade B in GCSE English and Maths.
