English Literature A Level at The Boston Grammar School

Course description

English Literature at A Level is the study of different forms of literature from 1300 to the present. You will read and critically respond to a range of texts, including classic and modern novels, Shakespeare’s p lays and a range of poetry. You will be required to read the set texts during private study as well as in class. Time will be spent developing your analytical and evaluative skills in preparation for the exam.

Entry requirements

GCSE English Literature grade B.
