Warehousing and Storage Apprenticeship at West Cheshire College

Course description

This Apprenticeship is designed for people working within a commercial, wholesale or industrial environment, dealing with the handling, storing and dispatch of goods. The Apprenticeship places emphasis on health and safety, receipt and storage of goods and using equipment in the storage area. Apprentices work towards the Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage and Advanced Apprentices work towards the Level 3 Certificate in Logistics Operations Management and are required to demonstrate a broader range of skills, taking into account planning, auditing and team development processes. You will also improve your functional skills in English and maths.

You will work towards achieving an NVQ Diploma Level 2 or Level 3 in Warehousing and Storage.

Entry requirements

This Apprenticeship would suit those who are currently working in the sector, and would like to work and gain a recognised qualification.


You will be mainly assessed within the workplace.
